Job Description

As a key member of the Mr Price team, you will ensure that all customer inquiries, store card applications, correspondence, and employment verifications are handled efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure customer’s queries, correspondence and needs are actioned timeously to provide excellent customer service and avoid backlogs and customer complaints
  2. .Telephonically confirm employment and personal details to verify information provided on the store application forms
  3. Update customer’s details on relevant Debtor’s systems to ensure an accurate and up-to-date customer details base
  4. Process all store card applications across all divisions to increase customer and credit base (outbound agents only)

Qualifications

  1. Education Grade 12
  2. Experience1 year call centre experience (preferably in new accounts)
  3. Accounts applications processing experience (advantageous)

 

Skills and knowledge

  1. Knowledge and understanding of industry legislature – Consumers Protection Act; POPI (Protection of Personal Information Act); National Credit Act; ICASA (Independent Communications Authority of South Africa)
  2. Communication skills – clear and effective verbal communication to assist customers with account setup and inquiries.
  3. Problem-Solving – quickly identifying issues and providing effective solutions
  4. Attention to detail – ensuring accuracy in customer information and account setup processes
